This event tracks the precise closing price of gold at a specific future moment, using tightly defined technical parameters to determine the outcome. The resolution hinges on a single, instantaneous measurement of market value during a narrow time window, reflecting real-time commodity exchange activity.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the closing price of the 1-minute candlestick for gold at exactly 5:00 PM EDT on October 27, 2026. Thirty-eight separate outcome thresholds exist, each corresponding to a specific price level above which the market resolves to 'Yes'. The settlement value uses the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval (i.e., the 4:59 PM candlestick closing at 5:00 PM). All prices are rounded to the nearest two decimal places. If no data is published for the specified timestamp by the source agency, the most recently available published data will be used for resolution.
