The event resolves based on the final certified seat allocation from the 2026 Berlin state election for the Abgeordnetenhaus (state parliament). The party finishing in fourth place—determined by the number of seats each party wins—is declared the market winner. Rankings derive from the Landeswahlleiterin für Berlin's official certification, not preliminary counts. In cases of tied seat totals, parties share the higher rank, and the next available rank is assigned below the tied block, meaning ranks are skipped rather than shared. Parties that withdraw or are disqualified after the filing deadline but remain on the ballot are still ranked according to their vote tally. Only seats from the Abgeordnetenhaus election count; district assembly (Bezirksverordnetenversammlung) results are irrelevant. Write-in candidates achieving the specified rank trigger a NO resolution for all named candidate markets unless a "Write-in" or "Other" option is explicitly included.
