Core resolution logic:

  • Market resolves to 'Yes' if any 1-minute candle during regular trading hours in the week of August 24, 2026 shows a high (for ↑ markets) or low (for ↓ markets) equal to or beyond the listed price.
  • Prices are determined from Pyth data, adjusted for stock splits or similar corporate actions.
  • If Pyth data is unavailable, the official daily high/low from the primary exchange will be used.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Corporate Actions: Any stock split or reverse split during the period will adjust the target price proportionally, and resolution will use split-adjusted prices as shown on Pyth.
  • Pre-market or After-hours Trading: Prices achieved outside regular trading hours (pre-market or after-hours) do not count, regardless of platform.
  • Pyth Data Unavailability: If Pyth data is unavailable due to outage or failure, the official daily high/low published by the primary exchange will determine resolution.

Opinion

An "↑" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "High" for Amazon (AMZN) is at or above the price specified in the market at any point inside the window; an "↓" market resolves to "Yes" if the official daily "Low" is at or below the specified price. Boundary touches count. Markets whose level is never reached before the deadline resolve "No". In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Amazon (AMZN), these markets resolve on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in each market is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon (AMZN) daily price data available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/. If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Amazon (AMZN) trades governs.
