On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a constant product market maker model, similar to automated market makers in decentralized finance, to ensure liquidity and facilitate trading.
This market resolves around Nov 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the officially declared winner of the Worlds 2026 championship as determined by the event organizers. The platform will verify the results against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the final result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major announcements regarding team rosters, player performance, or coaching changes could shift expectations. Unexpected upsets in qualifying tournaments or early stages of the championship could also cause substantial price movements. Furthermore, news relating to potential injuries or controversies surrounding key players will likely influence trading activity. Overall, any information that alters the perceived probability of a team winning the Worlds 2026 championship has the potential to move this market.
