This market tracks the New York Giants’ win total for the 2026 NFL regular season, specifically forecasting whether the team will win at least 2 games. Currently, the aggregated probability across Polymarket and Kalshi indicates a 98.0% chance of the Giants achieving this outcome. Resolution will be determined based on the team’s official regular season record, as defined by whether the New York G Pro Football team wins at least 4 games in the 2026-27 regular season. Keep an eye on the final regular season game schedule, as the outcome will be determined following the conclusion of games played on or before February 16, 2027.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total number of regular season wins accumulated by the New York G Pro Football team during the 2026-27 season. Each market corresponds to a specific win threshold: the team must achieve at least that threshold to resolve to Yes. For example, the 5+ wins market resolves Yes if New York G wins five or more games; the 12+ wins market resolves Yes if New York G wins twelve or more games. The resolution is based on the official final regular season win total recorded by the league at the conclusion of the 2026-27 regular season. All thresholds range from a minimum of one win through a maximum of seventeen wins.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by individuals betting with their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies, as prediction markets may more efficiently incorporate diverse information and expert opinions. However, both types of odds aim to predict the same underlying probabilities. It's common to see prediction markets move ahead of sportsbooks in identifying shifts in expectations, particularly as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, the current price reflects the aggregate belief of its traders, while Kalshi has its own distinct user base and trading dynamics. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This can result in differing probabilities for the same event. Factors like user demographics, trading fees, and the specific incentives offered on each platform can all contribute to these price discrepancies. Furthermore, differing levels of volume on each platform can impact price discovery, meaning that a larger market may be more efficient at incorporating new information. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Will the New York Giants have more than 6.5 wins during the 2026 NFL season? at 83.0%, while Kalshi leans toward Will the New York G pro football team win at least 5 games this season? at 92.0%.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the New York Giants in the 2026 NFL season, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine the outcome of this market. The resolution will be based on the regular season games played and any officially recognized outcomes. We rely on publicly available data to verify the result and ensure a transparent and accurate resolution process.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Major player acquisitions or injuries to key Giants players would undoubtedly shift expectations. Coaching changes, performance in the upcoming NFL draft, and even the performance of other teams in the NFC East could all impact the perceived likelihood of the Giants achieving a certain win total. Any news that alters the broader outlook for the team's competitiveness will likely be reflected in the trading activity and price movement of this market. Unexpected developments during the 2025 season will also play a key role.
