This group of markets predicts the winner of the 2026-27 Associated Press (AP) NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The markets cover multiple players and scenarios, including ties or co-winners.
This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Associated Press (AP) NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award for the 2026-27 NFL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NFL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NFL season is cancelled, postponed after February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The market resolves to Yes for whichever eligible player wins the Pro Football AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award during the 2026-27 season. Each outcome corresponds to a specific player or the possibility of a tie/co-winners situation. Resolution is determined by the official AP award announcement for that season.
Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed traders rather than set bookmaker adjustments. Where sportsbooks may smooth probabilities for balanced action, prediction markets can price in sharper differences based on recent performance data, news, and depth of analysis from participants, sometimes showing a spread of 8.0 between the two types of odds.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each platform attracts different user bases and liquidity patterns, which influence how probabilities are set. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue may see heavier betting on a high-profile rookie due to recent media coverage, while the other could reflect deeper statistical analysis of offensive schemes. These dynamics often produce distinct implied chances, such as 10.0% on Polymarket versus 18.0% on Kalshi.
This market resolves around Mar 30, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the award winner is announced and verifiable from credible public reporting. The Associated Press selects the winner following the season’s conclusion, and that official decision determines the market’s final result, regardless of pre-season favorites or in-season performance swings.
Key signals that could shift probabilities in this market include preseason camp performances, injury updates for contending rookies, changes in coaching strategies that affect playing time, and early-season statistics once games begin. Any sudden rise in production or setback for a top candidate can cause rapid repricing, especially as traders adjust expectations about who will have the most impact on his team’s offense during the regular season.
